City police host National Night Out
SCRANTON - City police will host a National Night Out festival tonight at Scranton High School.
Acting Police Chief Carl Graziano said the festival will begin at 6 p.m. in the parking lot and will feature a demonstration by the department's K9 unit, a demonstration by the Fire Department, live music and rides.
Fireworks will close out the event, which is expected to wrap up around 10 p.m., Chief Graziano said.
The event is free, but ride tickets may have to be purchased, he said.
