Business gets loan to rebuild

WILKES-BARRE - Brews Brothers received a $100,000 loan from MetroAction through the Luzerne County Flood Recovery Program to rebuild following the flooding last September.

The Jenkins Twp. bar and restaurant, owned by Michael and Andy Partash, was under five feet of water in September, which destroyed the first floor and forced the business to close for two months.

MetroAction provides loans to small businesses in Northeast Pennsylvania that do not have access to traditional sources of credit. For more information, visit www.metroaction.org.
