Twenty people were injured when two buses collided in New Jersey outside the Lincoln Tunnel, The Associated Press reported.
Port Authority spokesman Ron Marsico said at least two of the people injured are in serious condition.
NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder said a bus operated by Wilkes-Barre-based Martz Trailways rear-ended a NJ Transit bus that was carrying 45 passengers from Paramus, N.J., to the Port Authority bus terminal in Manhattan, the AP said.
The crash closed the Lincoln Tunnel for about an hour and a half.
Martz Trailways' director of Safety, Michael Jordan, told The Times-Tribune the Martz bus departed from the Delaware Water Gap station Monday morning. He declined to release the name of the driver.
