MOSCOW - The new North Pocono Public Library will open its doors at 9 a.m. today, library officials announced.
The opening of the 1315 Church St. building, to replace the substantially smaller facility at 113 Van Brunt St., wraps up a $3.2 million, approximately yearlong capital project.
The library's new hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The library will host a grand opening celebration from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
