RANSOM TWP. - Several road repair projects are set to begin on nearly every road in the township, the supervisors announced at a meeting Monday.

The township is preparing to request bids for crack sealing and other surfacing projects, Supervisor David Bird said. About 90 percent of the 28 miles of township roads are set for crack sealing, with the exception of roads that see heavy truck traffic.

Bald Mountain Road will be micro surfaced, the upper section of Bald Mountain Road will be seal coated and Cherry Hill Road will be nova chipped.

He estimated the entire project to cost about $256,000.
