Restaurant faces liquor charges
SCRANTON - Authorities cited a North Scranton restaurant with several liquor law violations, including mislabeling a beer tap and refilling liquor bottles.
In September, Jilly's, 524 Court St., had Keystone Light beer pouring from a Miller Lite tap and refilled liquor bottles, and in July allowed patrons to leave the premises with alcohol, according to the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.
Jilly's also failed to require patrons to leave within half an hour of last call, a news release said.
The citations, which will go before an administrative law judge, can result in penalties from $50 to $1,000 as well as license suspension or revocation.
