Third wild animal found in Jessup
JESSUP - Borough police are asking residents to take care around wild animals, as a feral cat marks the third animal in a small area borough police Chief Joseph Walsh has had to put down.
Chief Walsh said residents should avoid stray and wild animals and get their own pets inoculated against rabies. No injuries from stray animals have been reported.
The animals - a raccoon, a skunk and a cat, have turned up in the area of Hand Street, Delaware Street and 3rd Avenue, about a quarter mile radius, Chief Walsh said.
If anyone should see any animal behaving strangely, they should contact police immediately.
