Monroe County man dies in crash
HAMILTON TWP. - An 82-year-old Monroe County man died when his vehicle hit a tree Sunday morning, state police at Swiftwater said. Thomas A. Giarrizzo of Stroudsburg died in the Hamilton Twp. wreck.
Mr. Giarrizzo was driving south on Neyhart Road at about 7:55 a.m. when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree, causing substantial damage to the driver's side of the vehicle.
He died before emergency medical service personnel arrived at the scene, near 272 Neyhart Road.
