Rosetti in federal custody
LEWISBURG - Fred Rosetti, Ed.D., is now an inmate.
The retired executive director of the Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit reported to the minimum-security prison camp at the United States Penitentiary in Lewisburg on Thursday morning.
He is scheduled to spend the next 33 months there after pleading guilty to mail fraud and theft charges. He admitted to using his position to steal taxpayer money by intentionally failing to record sick and vacation days, creating false travel vouchers and ordering employees to do personal tasks for him. Along with the prison time, he must pay $137,944 in restitution to the NEIU and a fine of $30,200.
