You have about 24 hours to submit a letter of interest and résumé.
Members of the school board will meet Friday at 6 p.m. to appoint a candidate and to elect new officers to the board, according to a legal notice in today's Times-Tribune.
Board President Sean O'Shea resigned from the board on Tuesday night, citing long hours and extensive travel with his new job with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
Letters and résumés must be submitted to Virginia Orr, school board secretary, by 4 p.m. Friday. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Administration Building, 425 N. Washington Ave.
