SCRANTON - A city man will serve 29 to 96 months in prison plus six years of special probation for robberies he committed to fuel his heroin habit.
Nicholas Garan, 31, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking and robbery for the August robberies of Great Wall Chinese restaurant, 1400 Monroe Ave., Dunmore; Wayne Bank, 623 S. Main Ave., and a Sunoco gas station, 234 S. Main Ave., Scranton.
