Defendant admits to harassment
SCRANTON - A man accused of assaulting his girlfriend in December in Dunmore has pleaded guilty to a summary charge of harassment.
Daniel S. Snel, 24, of Hillsborough, N.J., entered the plea before Magisterial District Judge Paul Ware and was ordered to pay a $300 fine plus costs, according to court records. Charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.
Mr. Snel was arrested Dec. 15 after officers responding to a Tall Trees apartment found his girlfriend with a bloody lip and other minor injuries, Dunmore police said.
