OLD FORGE - Borough police arrested an alleged copper thief on Monday after he went back to a vacant home on Connell Street on Monday for more.
Ryan Fedor, 19, 120 Henderson St., stripped the copper piping from a vacant home at 19 Connell St. on Saturday, according to a criminal complaint.
When witnesses saw him return on Monday, officers stopped him and found pipe and wire cutters in his bag and arrested him on charges of criminal trespassing, burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
He was remanded to the Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 16.
