HONESDALE - Authorities in Wayne County arrested a borough man for selling heroin after he made two sizeable deals with an informant, authorities said.
Wayne County District Attorney Janine Edwards said Daniel R. DiBenedetto, 24, 1310 Westside Ave., Honesdale, sold 100 bags of heroin to an informant on two occasions in the borough.
The district attorney's Drug Task Force and state police Vice Unit conducted the investigation that ended in his arrest on Tuesday, according to a news release.
Mr. DiBenedetto was sent to the Wayne County Prison in lieu of $300,000 bail after his arraignment on nine felony counts and two misdemeanors, Ms. Edwards said.
