Area stores sold 2 winning tickets
CARBONDALE - Two winning Pennsylvania Lottery tickets selected in Wednesday's drawing were sold at area shops.
The two Cash 5 tickets both matched the winning numbers, 19-22-28-39-42, splitting the record grand prize of $1.9 million.
The tickets were purchased at the Turkey Hill at 21 Eighth Ave. in Carbondale and Lake Region IGA in Hawley, Wayne County.
Claims can be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.
Before this drawing, two Cash 5 winning tickets drawn on April 15, 2008, held the record for the game's largest payout, worth $1.87 million.
