Police respond as break-in fails
SCRANTON - City police responded to an attempted burglary in Green Ridge early Tuesday, but the suspect did not get inside the home. Acting Capt. Glen Thomas said John Benzeleski, 70, called police at about 3:30 a.m. and reported hearing someone trying to get in the side door of his 216 Marion St. home.
