SCRANTON - Get your gloves and scarves ready. Low temperatures this week will be in the single digits, AccuWeather said.
After a high of 47 degrees on Sunday at 11 a.m., a cold front came through the region, which will cause frigid temperatures this week, meteorologist Mike Pigott said.
Afternoon snow showers are expected today, with a high of 30 degrees. Up to an inch of snow could accumulate, Mr. Pigott said. Tonight's low will be 14.
Tuesday will be partly sunny with a high of 19 and low of 7, and Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 20 and low of 8, he said.
