DUNMORE - A borough man drove his vehicle into a parked car on Saturday, then hit another car driving on the street, sending four people to the hospital, borough police said.
Thomas Giorgio, 81, 316 Willow St., drove his Ford Taurus onto Somers Street from Chestnut Street and hit a parked Chevy Trailblazer owned by Joshua M. Osterhout, 103 Somers St. Mr. Giorgio then swerved and hit a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Nicole A. Arsenault, 30, 1501 N. Lincoln Ave., Scranton.
Mr. Giorgio and Ms. Arsenault, as well as her two passengers, Hedi Knight, 27, of Dunmore, and Cheyenne Smith, 5, of Scranton, were taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center. Mr. Giorgio remained in the hospital late Saturday in good condition. The others were treated and released.
There was no information on whether charges would be filed.
