Man charged with slapping mother
CARBONDALE - A city man was charged with slapping his mother and stealing her cellphone, police said.
Vincent Antidormi, 22, walked into the police station Friday while intoxicated and asked if he could have drugs that had been seized from him Thursday during a prior arrest, police said. He was accompanied by a woman who told police that earlier Friday he had slapped his mother's face.
An officer called the mother, who said her son also stole her $600 cellphone to trade it for two bundles of heroin.
Mr. Antidormi was charged with simple assault, theft, receiving stolen property and violation of several city ordinances, police said.
