OLYPHANT - Borough police arrested a South Valley Avenue man on Monday after he admitted to smoking pot while watching his 8-month-old daughter, according to a criminal complaint.
Frank Cruser, 23, 409 S. Valley Ave., admitted he had just smoked marijuana when officers arrived at his home at about 8 p.m.
Mr. Cruser was watching his infant daughter at the time, according to the complaint. Officers also found various paraphernalia and small amounts of marijuana, which he said he occasionally sold to friends.
He was charged with endangering the welfare of children, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
He was later released on $10,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Dec. 3.
