Allied Services Integrated Health System

Karen Kearney was promoted to vice president of inpatient rehabilitation, Allied Services Integrated Health System. Ms. Kearney started her career as a social worker at Heinz Rehab Hospital and most recently served as assistant vice president of Hospital Operations there. She earned her bachelor's degree from Penn State University in 1981 and her master's degree from Marywood University the following year. Ms. Kearney lives in Scranton with her husband, Kerry, and children, Kerry Jr. and Chelsea.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates

Trisha Sims, Realtor, has joined the company and will be working from its Mount Pocono office. Ms. Sims has lived in the Poconos for the past 9½ years and currently lives in Pocono Farms. She is a graduate of the Pocono Real Estate Academy and holds a Pennsylvania Salespersons License.

First National Bank

Diane Paulukinas, market manager, has been promoted to vice president. In this role, Ms. Paulukinas provides oversight of sales and operations for 13 branches throughout Pennsylvania. A resident of Shamokin, Ms. Paulukinas graduated from the Central Atlantic School of Banking and Leadership Susquehanna Valley.

NEPA Charter Property Casualty Underwriting Society

New society designees include Allan Joseph and Christine Fahey Boyle from Ace/Penn Millers Insurance Co.

Genworth Financial Investment Services Inc.

Bernard A. Fagnani, C.P.A., P.F.S., was named to the executive council as a top financial adviser at Explore 2012, the 14th annual national training and education conference produced by Genworth, which is now part of the Cetera Financial Group. The designation places Mr. Fagnani among the top of his industry peers. At his Throop-based practice, Mr. Fagnani delivers wealth management solutions to a wide variety of clients. This is the 12th consecutive year that he has received this distinguished award.

Kimberlee Hunt, C.S.A., was recognized at Explore 2012, for her outstanding performance in a client service associate role. Kim is the financial services client coordinator for the firm. She manages the financial services operations from client portfolio review to facilitating the investment process. She is also responsible for daily client service, support and account maintenance. Ms. Hunt holds FINRA securities licenses 6 and 63, life, health and variable contract licenses.

Donna Pinto also attended the conference. Ms. Pinto is the client service assistant for the firm. She assists with the financial services operations from client portfolio review to performing analyses on clients' investment accounts. She also assists with the daily client service, support and account maintenance.

Honesdale Surgical

Melissa Tracy, A.C.N.P.-B.C., board certified acute care nurse practitioner, joined the staff of the specialty practice of the Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers. Ms. Tracy graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University with a master's degree in nursing from the acute care nurse practitioner program. She was awarded the credential of acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in August 2012. Ms. Tracy received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2005 and a diploma from the Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing in 1994. She resides in Damascus with her husband, Mark, and their three children.

Three of the firm's attorneys have been named to the annual "Best Lawyers in America" individual listings: attorney Joe Quinn for personal injury and medical malpractice; and attorneys Michelle M. Quinn and David A. Saba for personal injury.

Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center

Jack Adams of Kingston has joined NEPIRC's team as one of the organization's business advisers. Mr. Adams is responsible for building relationships and presenting NEPIRC services to a specialized portfolio of regional manufacturers to foster their profitable growth. He holds a degree in business administration from King's College and various certificates in information technology and other fields from Luzerne County Community College.

SamSon Productions/SSPTV

Kathy Bozinski has been named director of video media and public relations. Ms. Bozinski will be responsible for all news development, operation and expansion for SSPTV's News 13 and will help anchor its two daily half-hour newscasts. She will also contribute to the company's public relations and community outreach efforts. Ms. Bozinski was the first public information officer for Luzerne County. She was an anchor/investigator for WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre.

Sylvia Marketing & Public Relations

Lynn Jusinski is the company's newest public relations specialist. Originally from Schuylkill County, she majored in English at Ursinus College and studied abroad at the University of Stirling in Scotland. Ms. Jusinski worked as a reporter at two weekly community newspapers and was an associate editor at a trade publication focused on the health information management industry.
