Lackawanna County Court sentencings

The following defendants were sentenced recently in Lackawanna County Court by Judge Michael Barrasse:

- Steve Brothers, 26, no street address listed, Scranton, to two to six years in state prison for theft by unlawful taking and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

- Darren Thatch, 24, of 810 Prescott Ave., Scranton, to three months of house arrest and 21 months of intermediate punishment for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

- Justin Ross Straesser, 31, of 1 Mruck St., Throop, to one month of house arrest, five months of intermediate punishment and a $1,000 fine for driving under the influence.

- Carl Lewis Emrick Jr., 52, of 316 Chestnut St., Dunmore, to six months of house arrest and 18 months of intermediate punishment for harassment by communication and disorderly conduct.

- Michael Edwards, 60, of 89 Main St., Apt. 2, Olyphant, to seven days in county prison for disorderly conduct.

- Kyle Robert Cohawitz, 22, of 143 Big Hills Road, Lake Ariel, to nine to 23 months in county prison and two years of probation for simple assault and resisting arrest.

- Hector Agosto, 33, of 435 10th Ave., Scranton, to two to five years in state prison for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

- Theodus Williams, 55, of 118 E. Market St., Scranton, to one to two years in state prison for simple assault.

- Shane Donovan, 20, of 632 Scranton-Pocono Highway, Covington Twp., to two months of house arrest, four months of intermediate punishment and a $300 fine for DUI.

- John Thomas Dougherty, 50, of 636 Moosic St., Apt. 1, Scranton, to three months of probation for disorderly conduct.

Judge Vito Geroulo sentenced:

- John Lowery Jr., 32, of 545 Winola Road, Clarks Summit, to two years of state intermediate punishment and two years of probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.

- Jorge Salcedo, 31, of 938 Pear St., Apt. 2E, Scranton, to 15 to 30 days in county prison for possession of marijuana.

- David Richard Sagan, 51, of 13 Webster Drive, Dunmore, to six to 20 months in county prison, four years of probation and $600 in restitution for arson, recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief.

- Robert Driscoll, 58, of 828 Capouse Ave., Scranton, to 128 days to one year in county prison for open lewdness.
