MONTROSE -- On the day his homicide trial was scheduled to start, a New Milford man pleaded guilty in Susquehanna County Court today to third-degree murder.
Quentin Millard, 24, faces between 20 to 40 years in state prison for the Sept. 3, 2018, slaying of John Amrein, District Attorney Marion O’Malley said.
A co-defendant, Andrea Martel, 22, of Hallstead, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit third-degree murder Dec. 20.
The pair were accused of killing Amrein, of Oakland Twp., with a machete before hiding his body in the woods.
Both will be sentenced by President Judge Jason J. Legg on March 18.
