MILFORD TWP.
Pike County Coroner Christopher P. Brighton confirmed Tuesday that an 84-year-old Shohola Twp. man missing for more than a month was found dead not far from his home.
Fayez M. Dahan, who lived in Scranton in the 1970s, was found inside his wife’s maroon 2008 Toyota Sienna around noon Monday off Route 6 just outside of Milford.
Brighton said they believe Dahan was involved in an accident shortly after he went missing early Oct. 1. He suffered from dementia.
Brighton said Dahan died of “multi-systems trauma” and listed the manner of his death as an accident.
Formerly of the Hill Section, Dahan worked for the former Loeb, Rhoades & Co., a Wall Street brokerage firm, at its Scranton office.
