CLIFFORD TWP. — A Forest City man was killed Wednesday in a two-car crash on Route 247 in Susquehanna County, state police at Gibson said.
Richard F. Shinn, 68, was driving south just before 8 a.m. when a northbound car collided with his Chevrolet Cavalier after failing to make a downhill right curve, police said.
The second driver, Gregory W. Sheridan, 30, Hallstead, who was operating a Ford Fusion, was taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center with suspected minor injuries, state police said.
