Price Chopper opens in Monroe
MARSHALLS CREEK - Price Chopper recently opened a 50,000-square-foot supermarket in the Stroudsburg area.
The company said it designed and engineered the Monroe County market to meet the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
The Smithfield Twp. store includes full-service seafood, meat, produce, deli and grocery departments, bakery, floral and food service operations.
Price Chopper, based in Schenectady, N.Y., operates 131 groceries in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont. The chain has seven other markets in the region.
