Montage seeking a world record
SCRANTON - Admission will be free for three hours on Tuesday at Montage Mountain water park during a promotional event.
Montage will participate in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson, which promotes water safety. Admission to the park, the former Snö Mountain complex, will be free from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Montage officials reported.
Team World Swimming Lesson, the nonprofit event coordinator, hopes to set a world record for the largest simultaneous session. Montage is the local participant.
The event will be held in the wave pool at 10:30 a.m. The complex will have special events for children and other activities related to the promotion.
