SCRANTON - A city man waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday on charges of twice robbing the Turkey Hill convenience store on Mulberry Street in March.
David Wanzie, 1320 Mulberry St., 24, faces 12 charges including felony robbery as well as theft, receiving stolen property and recklessly endangering another person.
According to city police, he robbed the 1429 Mulberry St. Turkey Hill on March 3 and March 10.
He was incarcerated at the Lackawanna County Prison on Wednesday in lieu of $25,000 bail.
The waiver moves his case to county court for possible trial. His formal arraignment is scheduled for July 24.
