Women's shop leaving downtown
SCRANTON - An upscale women's apparel shop will relocate from the downtown to the Green Ridge section this fall.
Nada & Co. plans to vacate its location at 129 Wyoming Ave., and resettle at the former A&A Auto Parts store at Capouse Avenue and Marion Street, partner Katie Gilmartin said.
"Parking is a big issue," Ms. Gilmartin said. "That's the one we hear over and over again."
Nada & Co. moved to Central City in the fall of 2007 after 17 years in South Abington Twp. Its two-story, 4,500-square-foot space once was the men's department of the Globe Store.
The former auto parts store is being redeveloped for multiple tenants, Ms. Gilmartin said.
