Wrap Party
Lots of cast members were on hand when Pat McMahon presented a check to St. Joseph's Center for $2,312 at "The Office" Wrap Party in Scranton. The check from the president of OnePoint represented proceeds of the T-shirts printed and sold by the OnePoint team.
Along with Pat were Tim Holmes, Times-Shamrock regional director of marketing and events, Tim's Wrap Party co-creator, Michele Dempsey, president/CEO, DxDempsey; and Sister Maryalice Jacquinot, I.H.M., president/CEO of St. Joseph's Center. Gathering for the check presentation were Greg Daniels, executive producer and creator of the NBC show, and cast members Brian Baumgartner who played Kevin Malone; Steve Carell, Michael Scott; Jenna Fischer, Pam Halpert; Kate Flannery, Meredith Palmer; John Krasinski, Jim Halpert; and Oscar Nunez, Oscar Martinez.
Along with the donation from the T-shirt sales, event coordinators said revenue generated from tickets sold at each of the venues on May 4 were sufficient to cover all the costs of staging the event.
"The ticket prices for this internationally recognized event held in Scranton were set to simply cover all our costs. We believe that the nonprofit ticketing structure helped to ensure the huge crowds we received," said Tim, adding, "It truly was a Win, Win, Win - for the city, for the show and especially for the fans".
