A colorful array of saltwater fish swim in a large tank Thursday at the Electric City Aquarium and Reptile Den in the Marketplace at Steamtown. The long-awaited attraction, the passion project of Susquehanna County businessman and animal enthusiast Cliff Grosvenor, welcomed its first customers with little fanfare to give staff a chance to acclimate. A grand opening event is in the works for a later date. Tickets cost $18.95 for adults and $15.95 for children. The aquarium offers discounts for senior citizens and students as well as military and police, according to its website. It also has group rates and annual passes. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Learn more at www.electriccityaquarium.com.
