Fire crews responded this morning to the working structure fire at 186 W Broad St. in Nanticoke. It took crews nearly two hours to fully extinguish the fire.
A couple and their twin daughters live in the home. Nanticoke police confirmed no one was home at the time and two dogs were rescued. The girls attend Greater Nanticoke Area High School and arrived on scene with Nanticoke school officials. Police said the family's last name is Delos Santos
Sadowski said a third alarm was almost immediately triggered.
"Being that it was daytime, we were at a premium for volunteers, so we went to a third alarm quickly to get more manpower," Sadowski said.
