SCRANTON - Android users can access the Lackawanna County Library System via their smart-phones, thanks to a new free app.
LCLS Connect allows library patrons to use cellphones in place of library cards to check out books and other materials, giving them access to a catalog of 500,000 items. Users can reserve or renew books and download e-books and audio books with the app, and get updates on lectures and other activities.
It can be downloaded at Google Play by searching LCLS Connect.
