Man threatens ex
SCRANTON - A Scranton man is jailed for threatening his ex-girlfriend by saying he would kill her and butcher her and hide her remains where they would never be discovered, Scranton police said.
Braulio Remache, 21, 108 Anthony St. Apt. 1, contacted his ex-girlfriend, Aixel Paramo, requesting to see his children just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
They met at 825 N. Main Ave. and he became angry and began to threaten her. She tried to call police, but he took the phone and left.
Mr. Remache is charged with terroristic threats, harassment and theft by unlawful taking.
He was sent to Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 7.
