Mohegan Sun offers free beer
PLAINS TWP. - Customers who go to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs with a Players Club card can get free 16-ounce draft beer while they're playing table games or slots as part of the casino's annual "Hot Summer Fun" promotion.
The free draft beer available includes Miller Lite, Coors Light, Heineken and Labatt Blue. Elite and Sagamore-level players can still get their same level of free drinks, said Mike Bean, president and general manager at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
Mount Airy Casino Resort in Monroe County was one of the first Pennsylvania casinos to offer free drinks, including wine, draft beer and mixed drinks, on the gaming floor whether guests are playing penny slots or high stakes poker, said spokeswoman Tonia Lewis. Mount Airy has offered free drinks to all players since 2010.
