A man who persuaded a 9-year-old girl to perform sexually explicit acts over a video gaming system webcam - and attempted to do the same with an 11-year-old girl - pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday.
An FBI investigation, aided by Blooming Grove, N.Y., police, revealed Alfred Kenvyn, 33, of Nicholson, attempted to persuade the older girl to engage in sexually explicit acts through an Xbox in early 2012. He was successful at persuading the younger girl to participate in similar acts in July and September 2012, according to a press release from the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Kenvyn pleaded guilty to producing and attempting to produce child pornography. Under the plea agreement, prosecutors recommended Mr. Kenvyn be sentenced to 13 years in prison, followed by supervised release for life, according to the release.
Sentencing is set to take place in July.
