Vehicle injures PennDOT worker
SCRANTON - A state Department of Transportation worker was taken to a hospital after he was struck by a vehicle in a work zone Thursday, state police said.
Earl Priest, 57, of Fabius, N.Y., hit Scranton resident Tim Manzer, 44, on the arm with his Ford F-450's driver's side mirror at 10:22 a.m. near mile marker 183 on Interstate 81 north.
Mr. Priest will be cited, state police said. Mr. Manzer was treated at Geisinger Community Medical Center and released, hospital officials said.
