Heavy damage
to Midvalley salon
Fire caused extensive damage to a nail salon Friday morning in Blakely, the borough fire chief said.
Fire crews were called to LB Nails on the 1500 block of Main Street shortly after 7 a.m., Fire Chief Jason Leri said.
“Crews got in there, knocked it down quick, but it’s a lot of damage,” Leri said.
No injuries were reported.
A health inspector plans to examine the restaurants that share the strip with the nail salon.
A state police fire marshal is investigating, Leri said.
