OLYPHANT - An ATV crash at a culm bank sent two people to the hospital Saturday after the driver lost control of the vehicle, drove over an embankment and landed in a creek, borough Fire Chief Dave Tully said.
The driver and passenger, whose names were not available, were able to climb out of the creek before emergency crews arrived at the scene about a quarter mile off the Casey Highway around 5 p.m.
Both were taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.
