Giant recalls Justin's Organic Peanut Butter Cups

SCRANTON - Giant Food Stores is recalling Justin's Organic Peanut Butter Cups because of possible salmonella contamination in the peanut butter, after a recall by the company.

Specifically, 1.4-ounce packages of both milk and dark chocolate Justin's Peanut Butter Cups, UPC 89445500024 and 89445500025, with best-by dates of Nov. 11, 2011, through March 23, 2013, are recalled.

As of Friday, food stores reported no illnesses have been associated with the products.

Customers who have purchased the items should throw them away and return their receipts to any Giant store for a full refund.
