SCRANTON — The Lackawanna County Tax Claim Bureau collected $273,972.28 in delinquent taxes through the sale of 41 properties at Monday’s upset sale, bureau Director Ron Koldjeski said.

Of those 41 properties, four were located in Scranton, including the highest selling property located at 302-306 Wheeler Ave. That property sold for $27,532.09.

In total, the county had 463 properties available at the sale. Those that did not sell Monday and aren’t redeemed by November will be moved to the 2018 judicial sale, which is scheduled for March 26.
