SCRANTON — A Wilkes-Barre man is accused of trying to sell cocaine to city police.
Scranton police said they made arrangements to buy crack cocaine from Reginald “Riz” Gilliam, 32, of 58 N. Hancock St., after learning that he travels between cities to sell the drug.
Gilliam arrived with crack to complete the transaction at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday and had more than 6 grams of the drug and $1,884 cash in his possession when he was taken into custody, police said.
Gilliam faces several drug charges and was being held at Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
