Police vehicle involved in crash
TUNKHANNOCK TWP.- A man was apprehended after police say he crashed into one of their vehicles Sunday.
Adam Emmi, 29, of Tunkhannock, was traveling north on Route 1001 around 1:40 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and collided with a Tunkhannock Twp. police vehicle driven by Officer Cory Sidorek.
Officer Sidorek, 27, and passenger Edward Moristell, 34, both of Tunkhannock, suffered minor injuries. Mr. Emmi, who was not injured, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
