City police looking for two attackers
SCRANTON - City police are on the lookout for two men after a stabbing was reported in a possible home invasion.
Sgt. Steve Marino confirmed that a man was stabbed several times in his upper back at 429 S. 10th Ave. around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
He declined to identify the victim, who was taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for two men, one wearing a camouflage jacket and the other wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. Further descriptions were not available.
The attackers fled before police arrived, taking off down an alley behind the residence. A police dog was used to search the area, but the search was unsuccessful.
