Casey to head finance panel
SCRANTON - U.S. Sen. Bob Casey was appointed chairman of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Growth.
In his new position, Mr. Casey hopes to discuss responsible tax reform to help create jobs and promote economic growth, he said in a statement released by his office on Tuesday.
He also serves on the Foreign Relations; Health, Education, Labor and Pensions; and Joint Economic committees as well as the Special Committee on Aging.
