Woman sought for skipping sentence
SCRANTON - State police are looking for a city woman who failed to report to an Adams Avenue corrections center as part of her sentence on drug charges.
City police arrested Bobbi-Jo Gatto, 42, in February 2011 on charges she stole a car and was found in possession of prescription pills.
She pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in July 2011 and received intermediate punishment in addition to a one-year prison term.
On Thursday, state police said Ms. Gatto failed to report to Scranton Community Corrections at 240 Adams Ave. and asked for the public's assistance in finding her. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, 145 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo of a rose on her neck.
