TEXAS TWP. - State police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a 31-year-old woman outside Pizza Hut on Route 6 late Sunday.
Erin L. Greydanus of Honesdale heard footsteps behind her as she left Pizza Hut at about 10:40. She tried unsuccessfully to get into in her car before the man reached her, state police said. The man grabbed her and asked for money.
The woman managed to fight him off without losing her purse, and he was last seen walking east on Route 6.
The suspect was 5 feet 4 inches tall, 160 pounds with a stocky build and wearing camouflage pants, a dark hoodie and a black ski mask, police said.
