CLARKS SUMMIT - The ice sculptures lining borough streets are still upright, but the ninth annual Clarks Summit Festival of Ice is winding down.
Sunday's slate of activities, ranging from superhero face painting to horse-and-carriage rides, capped the borough's involvement in the festival, council President Gerrie Carey said.
Various venues throughout the borough will provide entertainment today, and the festival will officially conclude tonight, she said.
"I think we absolutely surpassed our total from last year of 30,000 people," Ms. Carey said. "We had a great year, and a lot more to offer in terms of activities."
