Midtown Men in downtown
Northeast Pennsylvanians were rockin' and a rollin' in the aisles when the Midtown Men came to downtown Scranton. The second presentation of Broadway Theater League of NEPA's 52nd season entertained capacity houses all weekend.
Sponsored by attorney Brian J. Cali and Michael and Donna Barbetti and family, the hit show based on the music of some of the greatest bands of the 1960s showcased such groups as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the Beatles, the Drifters and the Beach Boys.
The Midtown Men are from the original cast of "Jersey Boys." Tony Award-winning Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, who played Frankie Valli in the hit show; Daniel Reichard and J. Robert Spencer, were treated to a gala reception by the show's sponsors at Carl Von Luger's Steakhouse after the show.
Albert Nocciolino, president, and Tom Combs, NAC Entertainment; Tony Nicosia, league executive director; and Frank Blasi, league president, were among those on hand to enjoy the festivities.
