Cops: Assailants beat, robbed men
HAMILTON TWP. - State police are investigating a violent home invasion in Monroe County.
At 8:50 p.m. Thursday, two men entered the home of three Saylorsburg residents on Old Route 115. As soon as they came in, they flashed weapons and struck the 21-, 22- and 28-year-old male residents several times in the head and face, troopers said.
The pair then took money and electronics before fleeing on foot, state police said.
One of the men was black, about 6 feet tall and weighed about 220 pounds, troopers said. The other man was also black, about 5 feet 10 inches and weighed 180 pounds.
